Principal's Message

We are in the 'home' stretch.

A very exciting time of year as we prepare to send our 2017 graduating class into the future and promote each of our grade levels onto the next phase of higher learning.  Parents, this will be our best year yet.  Your dedication, support, and commitment to the Segerstrom educational program is a key to our success.  Supporting your students, checking their grades, and being involved in your child's future is the best recipe for success.  Keep up the good work and thank you for your partnership in the Segerstrom vision of college preparation.  During the last 8 weeks of school, over 640 Juniors will be taking the ACT, over 1,900 AP exams will be administered, and we will graduate 99% of our seniors.  All seniors will have completed an intense career based senior project and our Freshmen and Sophomore classes will have completed 3 sets of MAP growth assessments.  Learning does not stop in the summer!  Our summer reading book will be distributed shortly and we offer numerous enrichment programs during the summer to keep the rigor moving forward.  Don't forget, School starts August 14, for the 2017-2018 year.
Jaguars are an elite group.  Keep shining brightly all year long and never stop challenging yourselves to academic excellence.
