Spring is here Jaguars,
We are into the home stretch of another outstanding year in Jaguar nation. Every one of our seniors have taken the ACT, all of our 9th and 10th graders have been tested on an ACT readiness benchmarks, and the junior class will be taking their ACT on April 19. We have ordered almost 2,000 Advanced Placement tests for the 2 weeks in May, which is more than any other school in Santa Ana. We continue to be the best "pre-university" high school in SAUSD.
Our new bell schedule is a tremendous success, offering one of the best opportunities for teachers and students to get learning done together and with time. Student achievement remains the overall focus of academic life at Segerstrom and our tradition grows stronger everyday. We are having our FIRST EVER 'Jaguar Prowl 5K Run/Walk,' on Saturday, May 28. Look on our web site for more details.
Keep up the great effort parents; your help is undeniable and essential to the continued success of our programs and dedication. Remember it is not a grind, this is what makes us, defines us, and educates us to be able to make the best decisions which inevitably effects our lives and those close to us. Finish the school year strong, and keep looking forward to the great successes we continue to achieve.
