Mission Statement

To provide exemplary career technical education and workforce preparation that contribute to student academic and career success and the economic development of our community.

Director's Note

Welcome to the 2016-17 school year. Today's graduates must be prepared for the ever-increasing demands of college and the workplace. This year we will continue to update and expand courses in our Career Pathways at both the intermediate and high schools.  I am also very excited about our new Career Technical Education (CTE) units of study we will be piloting at 4 of our elementary schools using the nationally recognized Project Lead the Way (PLTW) engineering curriculum.  Our goal in Career Technical Education (CTE) is to equip students with the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to move on to whatever career path they choose. Our Career Pathways include:

            ·         Sequence of courses between intermediate, high school and college

            ·         Credit-bearing college courses offered in all pathways

            ·         Workplace training internship programs

            ·         Industry certification opportunities

            ·         Updated CTE course outlines that meet the University of California A-G eligibility requirements

Our hope is to prepare students for the full array of opportunities that await them after high school for both college and career.
